COUNTRY ROCK INFLUENCES

Colorado singer/songwriter Michelle Roderick brings a wealth of imagery to her groovy original country-rock music. She has been writing and performing her songs for over 20 years. Michelle moved to Fort Collins in 1993 from the Midwest (born in Wisconsin - raised in Minnesota) when she began playing out in the Northern Colorado area. Her influences stem from spending her youth in the Midwest, college years in Texas and later years in Colorado. Michelle has opened for folks such as Liz Barnez, Wendy Woo, The Three Twins (The Subdudes), and John Stewart (The Kingston Trio). Her collection of songs blends a mix of country and sultry rock into familiar life stories. Michelle has performed solo, duo/trio and as a 4-piece band - backed by some of the area's finest musicians which brings a seasoned sound to Michelle's distinctively strong vocals and song writing.

"Sultry and dramatic acoustic-based rock." - Tim Van Schmidt

"Building on Michelle's acoustic guitar, the Michelle Roderick Band has developed a tight, driving style that supports both polished arrangements and free-form jams." - ColoradoTown.com
